Data protection policy

Our production center is committed to processing your personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on "the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data".

I) DEFINITION

Personal data Any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier, such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier, or to one or more factors specific to his or her physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity.

II) DATA COLLECTION PROCEDURES FOR DMSM PRODUCTION

As part of our business of manufacturing custom-made medical devices (SMMD) or any of their components, we may collect personal data about you.

These data are as follows: 

  • Data relating directly to the customer laboratory (surname, first name of the person in charge, profession, legal status, business address, business telephone number, SIRET, bank details if invoices are paid by direct debit or bank transfer, etc.)., laboratory website login details, digital files).

III. USE OF DATA

This data is collected and used to ensure :

  • Recording, monitoring and updating customer files.
  • Customer management analysis.
  • Production of the DMSM (medical device).
  • MMSD traceability.

IV) RECIPIENTS AUTHORIZED TO PROCESS YOUR DATA

In-house, the personal data collected is only processed by personnel authorized by the production center's Data Controller. The latter has drawn up an exhaustive list of personnel authorized to process personal data, by type of activity. These measures have been taken to guarantee the security of your data.

V) EXTERNAL RECIPIENTS

As part of accounting and IT management and our quality approach, your personal data may also be processed by trusted partners who also comply with RGPD obligations. Only the information necessary to carry out accounting, IT management and our quality approach is communicated.

VI) ACCESS, MODIFICATION, PORTABILITY, RECTIFICATION AND DELETION OF DATA

At any time, you have the right to access, portability, modification, rectification and deletion of this data. We will inform you of these rights by sending you our personal data protection policy, together with an authorization form for the collection of your data.

VII) ARCHIVING AND BACKUP OF YOUR DATA

Protecting your data is our top priority, which is why we have set up a data archiving and backup procedure designed to define the actions to be taken to prove that the data required to manufacture customized medical devices, whether computerized or paper-based, is saved and archived permanently.

By way of information, data concerning the prescription, manufacture and traceability of DMSMs are kept for 10 years, and 15 years for implant-based DMSMs. Computer files are backed up on a regular basis.

The DMSM traceability data available on the customer areas of the production center's website are kept for life unless expressly requested by the customer. 

The site is hosted by an approved host with a server that is backed up and secured by protection tools (antivirus, updates, passwords).

VIII) DESTRUCTION OF ARCHIVES AND COMPUTER FILES

Once the retention period has expired, the computer files are deleted.

IX) CONTACT DATA PROTECTION OFFICER

In order to comply with the RGPD, I, the undersigned, Mr Philippe GAUTHIER, Production Center Processing Manager and Data Protection Delegate (DPO) certify that I have been registered as such on the CNIL (Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés) website since 22/09/2020.
