Change of regulations : Why VAT is good news for you!

Dear customers,

With recent changes in legislation, we now have to charge VAT on dental orthotics (such as braces). However, we we'd like to reassure you: our prices before tax (HT) remain unchanged.

👉 What we used to sell 10net is now sold for 10excl. VAT, i.e. 12INCLUDING VAT. The additional €2 corresponds to the VAT collected, which is paid in full to the French government.

Dent All Group does not touch these 2€.

Why is collecting VAT advantageous for you?

When you become a VAT collector, you can deduct VAT on your purchases. This means lower costs for you. Here's a simple example to help you understand:

Example: The laboratory sells a 100€

Before (not subject to VAT)

• • Sale 100 € net to the practitioner.
  • Purchases VAT included: €50 (VAT included but not recoverable).
  • Result A margin of €50 (€100 - €50).

Today (VAT collector)

• • Sale 100 excl. VAT (i.e. €120 incl. VAT, of which €20 is collected by the French State).
  • Purchases Purchase price: €50 incl. VAT, including €10 deductible VAT. The actual cost is therefore €40 excluding VAT.
  • Result A margin of €60 (€100 excl. VAT - €40 excl. VAT).

➡️ You still earn the same amount, but your purchases cost less thanks to VAT deduction.

Please note that this only applies to purchases made outside the DENT ALL GROUP (our NET prices are simply converted to HT).

What's in it for you?

Your prices excl. VAT remain the same as before (old net = new excl. VAT).

You're more profitable, because your purchasing costs are lower.

Collected VAT is neutral because returned to the State and represents no additional cost for you.

Conclusion By becoming a VAT collector, you gain a competitive advantage without impacting your margins. Your laboratory gains in profitability and optimizes its purchasing.
